But one medical center in west suburbanRobots may not completely solve the nation's ongoing nursing shortage, but staff at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital say their two robot assistants have been lifesavers.
The bots don't take care of patients. Instead, both devices -- named Moxi -- transport medicine and other supplies throughout the extensive facility. Over the course of six months, hospital officials say the robots saved staff members more than 3,100 hours.

That is not true at all. The shortage is because governors implemented to get vaccinated or get fired for ALL 1st responders. And a lot of them left. There is a lot of footage from media outlet's when this 1st was implemented. Don't change the story
Stop blaming a virus for a man made crisis. Healthcare is an oxymoron
Don’t blame the virus. Blame the hate filled people who fired all the healthcare workers for refusing the clot shot. Hospitals brought this on themselves.
They didn't get burnt out. I believe it was in the 80's the long range plan was, get rid of the lpn's and aides. Have only RN's. Then the RN's got 20 patients to care for. HMO's were the worst things that happened to medical care. Pat
