A new test build includes lots of new features.

Microsoft is bringing new touch gestures, Start menu folders, a redesigned Task Manager, and lots more improvements to Windows 11. A new build of Windows 11 is, and it’s full of new features that look like they will significantly improve the usability of Windows 11 overall.

The third new touch gesture lets you swipe from the bottom right of the taskbar to show the Quick Settings menu — useful if you need to toggle airplane mode quickly or access Bluetooth settings. The animations for bringing up the Notification Center have also been improved, and there’s a new full-screen gripper in touch-oriented apps that will stop you accidentally swiping from the edges of a tablet screen.

Other improvements on the way include the ability to drag and drop on the Windows 11 taskbar. This was a big missing part of the initial launch, so Windows 11 users will be happy to see this return. Microsoft is also making it easier to see your OneDrive storage within File Explorer and improving the Quick Access feature to let you pin files as well as folders.

Honestly... This is better than Windows 11 now. Everything is foldered in well here.

Looks like win 3.1

But, but, but...

Ironic, as most people I know don't want to touch Windows 11, at all

Windows 11. I don't care about all the crap that they refer to as improvements. Just more decorations thrown on the Christmas tree that is drooping ever closer to the floor. Cut the crap and just make that baby run fast! Like F1 fast!

FINALLY

I will need to uninstall the Windows 11 beta for developers.

All we wish is a new file system and a new file explorer. MS is focusing only on the nuggets when the OS needs an overall refresh!!

It would be much appreciated if they removed TPM 2.0 and specific support on CPUs.

I do not have a touch screen on my desktop. I put directories where I need them, nothing to do with Start. Windows 11, give up.

Probably has worse perms and UAC.

ThinkPad Blackberry

This is how Windows should be six years ago adopting some of Android features

All I want is just the app list to pop up when I hit windows key and not some pinned shit. Atleast they should have made it by default that if there are no pinned apps, then app list should pop up and now a blank empty slate 🙂

I’m already sick of Windows 11

We are tired….. thought they were over, since Android took over and Apple
