Will Schools Reopen on Time? More Leaders Are Saying No

Officials nationwide are deciding it is too dangerous to have students back in buildings in early September, despite urging from national leaders

They belong in school when schools are safe for students and teachers. Neither students or teachers belong in the morgue.

Too many people use schools as daycares and cafeterias. This virus will spread like wildfire if schools open up. Shame that the selfish refuse to wear a mask and help curb the spread.

If we stop to think about the common humanity that links us all we start to think issues related to this COVID-19 very differently. This is my contribution.

Let’s say in worst case scenario students or some students graduate on year older. How is that a bad thing? Late teens and early 20s are just drinking years for most. Just saying. + retirement age keeps getting pushed out.

If they dont want to work, lay them all off

Let's freeze schools for the rest of this year and prepare to continued the semester next January. I think this is the reasonable thing to do. Let teachers to contunue receiving pay and whoever takes office will adjust according to circumstances then.

I think we should give students from first grade to university one year break. Not reopen schools in September, let them do different things. Explore world on their own. Such a great opportunity! I wish I had when I was growing up. I actually did. Amazing experience!
