WikiLeaks says the U.S. is trying to criminalize journalistic activity and if Assange is extradited it could have serious implications for First Amendment protections.

resumes in London on Sept. 7 after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

How did we get here? Here are highlights of Assange's case and related events that have kept the Australian national in the news for over a decade: • Assange is in jail because he was found guilty of skipping bail in 2012, when he fled to Ecuador's embassy in London for diplomatic refuge rather than turn himself in to British authorities for possible extradition to Sweden. At the time, investigators in the Scandinavian country wanted to question him over sexual assault allegations.against Assange, which included a claim of rape.

Mr. Assange is NOT a U. S. Citizen and he was not obtaining information FOR a foreign government. How can we accuse him of ESPIONAGE is beyond me. The traitor per se is his source. How can he be accused of spying for revealing filth about a FOREIGN country?

Par for shutting down 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH'.

Assange is no martyr. I see the value in what he was doing initially. Like Snowden, pulling the covers off the 'machine' is the only way to replace the parts. But, compromising the safety of all of us is not the way to do it.

While I realize this argument is between WikiLeaks and the government, I feel certain things concerning the actions on nations should be withheld from the public in magazines and newspapers. Every government withholds knowledge of government secrets from the people (for security)

He’s not a journalist, he’s a KGB asset. Trump is in part his achievement.

Because Julian Assange really gives two shits about the First Amendment.

How's his health?

Its obvious
