The class trains citizens how to recognize the signs and symptoms of various mental illnesses -- from depression to anxiety disorder and substance abuse disorder.Participants also learn how to listen non judgmentally and deescalate in crisis situations. In addition, they receive a list of mental health and substance abuse resources."It's really not common sense to know exactly what to say, and how to say it.

Our health records follow us around. As the stigma of mental health is so great, of course people are reluctant to get their name entered into a national health care database like EPIC.
The question that should be looked into then is this just something that is more recent or has this number been the same going back 20-80 years and just didn’t have the medical research. If this is something more recent than what is the major cause for this figure? Interesting.
Seeking mental health care requires good insurance. Good insurance requires money. Mental health care often leads to medications which also cost a lot of money. People with mental health issues find it hard to get and keep a job--just getting out of bed is a struggle on some days
