The president could play a legal game that could keep the battle brewing even longer than his first term in office

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP, who pledged in April to fight “all the subpoenas”, has been dealt another blow in his battle to keep his tax returns private. In May, a federal judge in Washington, DC refused to quash a subpoena directing Mazars USA, the president's accounting firm, to give eight years of financial records to the House of Representatives.

The dissenting judge on the panel, Neomi Rao, saw things differently. A recent appointee of Mr Trump, Judge Rao wrote that the majority’s view of the case “breaks new ground” by blessing the subpoena “as part of the legislative power” when its true design is to investigate “allegations of illegal conduct against the president”.

Forever

I think it’s wrong behavior in which a person believes that he can afford absolutely everything only at the expense of the position

If we can't get his financial record what about his DNA. Come on we need something if the impeachment thing doesn't work.

Duh? He has multiple courts above this as well.

Follow the money.

Don’t the powers that be know what a bad precedent this is for their country?!

Democraps really think they're going to 'find' something. If there was something to find him on, the IRS would have dissected his returns and anything they could nail him on, and obviously wasn't an issue until he ran for office!

I truly hope that Trump will have been impeached before.

Because that's exactly what honesty people with nothing to hide do, right? TrumpCrimeFamily EmolumentsClause GOPFail TraitorTrump PutinsGOPuppets TrumpBetrayedOurAllies TrumpGenocide TrumpBetrayedTheKurds
