So, his mom is/was a bad person or he's just a vengeful, heartless dick?

I get that. There is always two sides to the story. However I feel that Quentin proved his success. The point in this is he is hurt by his mom for not believing in him. When a parent don’t believe in you it causes hurt and resentment. LandmarkForum helps.

I think there’s more to this story, but in general, it’s not a good idea to dismiss your kid’s dreams and then turn around and expect them to lavish you with the spoils of war.

Sometimes it’s like that though. I understand where he’s coming from.
