I live right outside of Houston, Tx.,and at this point, we have had no power for 30.5 hours. It was 11 degrees last night with a wind chill of 0. We still have no power. There are two people over 75 in this household, pets and other adults. This is utterly unacceptable! ERCOTSux

Nothing shows the sheer stupidity of over-reliance on 'green' energy policies like the rolling blackouts happening right now in Texas and the midwest.
In Texas we mostly use Nat. Gas for heating, we use way more power in the heat of summer than now. They tried rolling blackout for no reason and screwed it up. It is supposed to be 15 minutes to one hour and ours lasted over 6 hours the second time and one before over 4 hours
Clearly they have an issue with raking their snow.
