Does it seem like celebrities cheat on their partners more often than the rest of us? This could be why some do—and why others don't, writes LewandowskiPhD

Celebrities are generally highly desirable and therefore have many options for potential partners.

Those in higher quality relationships with more commitment and satisfaction find flaws in potential new partners to make them less tempting.Quick, in 10 seconds think of all the celebrities who have allegedly cheated in their relationship...

Celebrities have a lot of other fish in their proverbial seas. Unfortunately, even if their relationship is fantastic, the abundant temptation undermines commitment and fidelity. So it may not be that us"normal folks" are more moral and virtuous, and thus more faithful. Instead, it may just be that we don’t have the same temptations and opportunities, or ability to capitalize on them.

That said, just because someone has a lot of available options, it doesn’t mean they’re automatically going to cheat. In fact, the truly committed may not notice the alternatives, and if they do, may find faults with them and see them as less desirable.Researchers call this derogating alternatives, which is a fancy way of saying you find problems with potential new partners so that you’re not tempted to cheat on your current partner.

LewandowskiPhD When You kiss somebody during filming movie, You do open gates for cheating. Based on Stanislavsky method, You need to feel something similar to what is required during filming so folks will see it realistic. So, by nature of the business movie stars are more prone to cheating.

LewandowskiPhD Most likely that there are just more interest in cases of celebrities cheats. The more people look for it, the more they’ll find it, and for each one that they find, there are thousands of copies of the articles written and being sold on the scandal.

LewandowskiPhD Pretty sure there's a massive disparity in how much we hear about celebrity lives. I doubt there's any real difference in how folks behave, one group simply has the bright lights constantly looking for anything to report on while the rest of us enjoy obscurity.
