Evangeline Lilly opens up about the difficulties that came from filming AntManAndTheWaspQuantumania during the pandemic: 'It adds a lot of stress. It makes things very impersonal because you can’t see faces.'

Evangeline Lilly explains why Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was the hardest MCU installment for her to film. The last movie currently scheduled on the MCU's release calendar, Ant-Man 3 has been stirring up plenty of intrigue since it was first announced in late 2019. Peyton Reed returns to direct for the third time as Lilly suits up as Hope van Dyne alongside Paul Rudd's Scott Lang.

“We finished filming at the end of November, and I think, hands down, it was the hardest one we’ve made. It was the most difficult. It was the only one we’ve made during the Covid lockdowns. That just adds such an incredible complication to making a movie. It adds a lot of stress. It makes things very impersonal because you can’t see faces.

The Trouble With 'Encanto'? It Twerks Too Hard to Be PopularThink about it: If cartoons weren’t required to shake their digital booties to song, there’d be less pressure to go out on happiestly-ever-afters. I created a Twitter account just to tell you all that this is the worst take I've ever read and completely erases the beauty of dance and movement in Colombian cultures. It also reduces a story of generational trauma to a corporate propoganda. This take lacks nuance and integrity The arepa, or cornbread, is Venezuelan. This is about a Colombian family and about Latino culture and you complain about how it has “too much dancing” 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also a “large adult woman” cannot dance? Whoa! Beyond ridiculous.
