We sat down with the founder of Instagram's beauty news-breaking account.

She made an effort to publicize all the information she would want to have before buying something from a popular collection, including shade, price, and when items were going on sale. "At a certain point, I realized it was no longer my personal taste, but a community," she says.

Asked how she'd describe her role in the beauty community, Shab is close-lipped. "I'm a very open person and I love to look at myself in different directions. I don't like to categorize myself. I can't really respond to this kind of question because I don't feel like I'm one thing. I'm a makeup artist, I'm an influencer, I'm a mom, I'm Sophie," she says. "Trendmood is a community that includes me.

It's with that sense of responsibility to her followers that Shab decided to partner with Milani and Walgreens on an in-store endcap that does, in fact, feature her face. In lieu of launching new products, Shab curated her favorite items from Milani's existing range, which will be sold online and in Walgreens stores until November 1.. It's a duo that contains the Gilded Desires Eye & Face Palette and an eye shadow primer.

"All of the products on the display are proven favorites of the Trendmood community and me," says Shab. "My favorites are the lashes, which made me fall in love with Milani. The highlighters are blinding, the glosses are plumping, the eye-topper is showstopping. Trendmood fans will soon have even more opportunities to buy products recommended by their favorite glamorous mastermind. On October 2, Shabthe Trendmood Box, her very own curated subscription box. "Each box will be different with a mix of the HOTTEST in makeup and beauty that can include #SneakPeeks of never-released products, products from our favorite brands, special launches, accessories, and more," she wrote on Instagram. "I hope you are ready for this ride.
