A commission set up by President Joe Biden to explore potential changes to the US Supreme Court released draft materials Thursday addressing a number of topics related to the court, seeming to find consensus in favor of term limits but appearing divided over adding more seats to the bench.

The materials released on Thursday evening, prepared by a"working group" made up of a subset of the 36 commission members, fell short of making any solid recommendations for change, but instead amounted to appraisals from subcommittee members on the issues that will be presented to the full commission on Friday for further exploration. The commission was established in April.

Term limits would require an amendment which in turn would require 2/3 of Congress and 38 (75%) states to agree.

If term-limits are pursued, let's apply them to Congress as well then all branches of government will have them.

Supreme Court Justices Differ on Boston Bomber’s Death SentenceThe court heard arguments about whether procedural issues at Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s trial justified an appeal court’s setting aside his death sentence. considering the FBI tricked his brother into doing it, yeah The death sentence is entirely fair and just. This was no child. criminals like this are a drain on everyone. If clearly guilty of something like this death penalty makes sense to me. Carry out sentence and move on. So many other problems to use our resources on.
