VanessaCNN This isn’t Amtrak. This is Norfolk southern and CSX which own the rails amtrak runs on. This sucks for Amtrak.

VanessaCNN Despite Biden sending a Presidential Emergency Board to bridge the gap, and Railroads giving in to the majority of workers' demands, Railroad Unions are threatening to strike, crippling the US economy, and devastating farmers throughout the country.

VanessaCNN Rail workers currently have 0 sick days. They can’t take the day off to go to the doctor without being fired. Insane.

VanessaCNN If this happens it will set back the entire country. The railroad companies already have a monopoly on freight . What the unions is asking for does sound unreasonable based on how profitable the railroad is now.
