Trump is appealing to the Supreme Court to try to block the National Archives and Records Administration, which maintains custody of the documents from his time in office, from giving them to the committee

WASHINGTON — The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol has agreed to defer its attempt to get hundreds of pages of records from the Trump administration, holding off at the request of the Biden White House.

. Still other documents are highly classified and the White House asked Congress to work with the federal agencies that created them to discuss their release. The National Archives has said that the records Trump wants to block include presidential diaries, visitor logs, speech drafts, handwritten notes “concerning the events of January 6” from the files of former chief of staff Mark Meadows, and “a draft Executive Order on the topic of election integrity.”

Trump has taken to the courts to block the document releases. A federal appeals court ruled this month against Trump, and he has filed an appeal to the Supreme Court, though the high court has yet to decide whether to take up the case.

So much for this…

Congress can't agree on anything but political revenge. These deliberate distractions are disgraceful.

Trump is frantically trying to block different groups from getting access to his records. Basic detective work says that if you're desperate to block access to details about you, you're most likely involved in the crime. It's like refusing to give a DNA sample. Jail time.

God's love, will protect the unprotected !

Jan. 6 committee defers to Biden, won't get some Trump records due to security concernsPresident Joe Biden told the committee releasing all of the Trump administration documents could breach national security and compromise executive privilege. I know we all probably might have heard about Bitcoin but don't know how it works, I tried it in a week ago by a man who recommended me to Dpurplewomanfx on Twitter she guides me through and i made a return of $10500 after a week of trading, connect with her Dpurplewomanfx Don’t put the U.S. National security at risk just because Trump was a reckless President. Like if you agree. Trump and his team of insurrectionists did breach national security and endangered the lives of law enforcement and members of Congress.

MaddowBlog I was hoping it’s was Biden repeating Let’s go Brandon 😂🤣🤡 MaddowBlog It's common knowledge that one of Trump's greatest weaknesses is that he is so easily seduced and susceptible to just he slightest bit of flattery. Biden can use this to his advantage. Remember when Kim Jong-un was sending Trump 'love letters' to manipulate him? MaddowBlog “Brandon, it’s for you”. All you need to know.
