Tucker Carlson, meanwhile, found a scapegoat. On his show Wednesday night, the Fox News host pinned the blame for the entire Woodward episode squarely on South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham.

No defense is necessary. Trump did what any leader would do under the circumstances. Democrats were so consumed with impeachment they would have complained if he distracted everyone with pandemic panic.
