Which defensive free agents could the Browns still pursue? (video)

Taxpayers, city and state should ‘just say no’ to unmerited Browns stadium handouts: Brent LarkinThere’s Shaquille Leonard, the linebacker who’s garnered three Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pro selections, three of those being first-team nods. Leonard’s recorded four straight seasons of 100 or more tackles, and a combined 30 passes defended against through those seasons.

His play declined a bit after offseason back surgery in 2022. He was waived by the Colts in 2023 and finished the season with Philadelphia, totaling 88 tackles between both teams. Similar to Leonard, linebacker Zack Cunningham brings a history of racking up tackles and even led the league in total tackles and solo tackles during the 2020 season with Houston. His production has declined in recent seasons, but he has experience in Jim Schwartz’s defense after spending two seasons with him in Tennessee.
