French Riviera style is in full swing over at the Cannes Film Festival and attendees are channeling their inner Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot. Some, like Meryl Streep have embraced coastal suiting, favoring light, breezy pieces, while others like Anya Taylor-Joy have leaned hard into Old Hollywood glamour. No matter what style is speaking to them, many stars are breaking out their finest headwear for the occasion.

Taylor-Joy donned an enormous Jacquemus topper upon her arrival at Hôtel Martinez, and wore another straw hat around her neck the following day for Furiosa promotion; Margaret Qualley channeled her mother, Andie MacDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral in an oversized Chanel hat, affixed with a brooch; And Yseult paid homage to Christian Dior’s New Look with a black straw hat. Meanwhile, Hunter Schafer has championed the kerchief on multiple occasions this week.
