What to do this week: Swiftie dance party, Record Store Day, National Park Week

, which showcases extravagant clothing and fashion made entirely out of paper. This year, there will be 35 designs on the runway, all from local designers. The paper was donated by paper companies, and the money raised supports The One Club for Creativity Denver andor eventbrite. The fashions are judged by a panel of Denver-area designers and artists. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

There will also be local bands playing at the 13th Avenue location, which will open at 8 a.m. and feature the widest selection. “Everything worth getting,” said owner Pete Stidman. “We’ll have the Noah Kahan/Olivia Rodrigo thing, the Team Sleep thing, the 100 Gecs thing, and more.” There will be DJs at the South Broadway store, which opens at 10 a.m.David Rounds, on vacation from Chicago, walks along the Ute Trail near Trail Ridge Road at the Rocky Mountain National Park on Aug. 11, 2021.
