What's the fallout from Trump's pullback on Iran military strikes: ANALYSIS

Throughout his time in office, President Donald Trump has reserved some of his most bellicose threats for Iran.

But after Iranian forces shot down an American surveillance drone in the early morning hours Thursday, Trump was prepared to retaliate with U.S. strikes on three different sites that could have killed 150 people, according to the president. Instead, he stood down. That was one of the motivations behind Trump twice ordering strikes on Assad regime targets after similar uses of sarin nerve gas in April 2017 and April 2018.

"We have a president who basically runs the same play over and over again, which is he lights everything on fire and then he pretends to put the fire out and claim credit for it," said Colin Kahl, a top national security adviser to President Barack Obama and his Vice President Joe Biden.

Military mission briefings ALWAYS include estimated casualties when military action is considered & prior to approval. Additionally, plans for potential targets in hostile nations ALREADY EXIST with casualty estimates. Trump lies to make himself look good

Seems clear to me!! If POTUS killed even 10 innocents in retaliation of the Drone being shot down the World would have jumped all over him screaming Iran blew up a Mechanical Device and Trump Blew Up Innocent People. Iran is looking over their shoulder bc they KNOW Trump!
