What’s happening on Main Street outlined at Lions

LINDA GORDON ENTERPRISE LIONS If you have attended the Spring Festival at the Monument, Girls Night Out, Trick or Treat on Main Street, or the Whoville Celebration in December, you have helped support not only our downtown businesses and local vendors, but also Main Street Enterprise.

The Enterprise Main Street group is governed by an advisory board composed of business owners, realtors, recruiters, designers, and other interested parties. Five different committees work together to improve the appearance of the downtown district, plan fun fundraising events, recruit new businesses downtown, and create inspiring spaces for residents to enjoy.

The Promotion Committee does exactly that-–it promotes downtown. Its purpose is to strengthen the downtown area image, encourage consumers and investors, and promote the area’s best assets and potential. In 2023, this group helped to promote and carry out eleven events to attract people to the downtown area.
