Here's what Medicare for all means for doctors and hospitals

Private insurers typically pay medical providers a whole lot more than Medicare and Medicaid. And that's one of the main reasons why many hospitals and doctors oppose Medicare for all proposals that would eliminate or minimize private insurance. The renewed interest in Medicare for all has prompted the American Hospital Association, Federation of American Hospitals and American Medical Association to join a national coalition seeking to chill the growing fervor.

Hospitals and doctors that see a lot of privately insured patients could see their reimbursements drop, but those that take care of the uninsured and Americans on Medicaid, which covers the poor, could wind up making more money under Medicare for all than they do now."There are tradeoffs," said Sanders spokesman Josh Miller Lewis."Our goal is to ensure every single person is guaranteed health care, and we do it in the most cost-effective way.

POTUS Medicare for all is mediocre heathcare for all, waiting months 2 see a doctor, not the same doctor, months 2 have procedures done. If this bad idea ever became reality, Congress, the people making the laws, wouldn’t be affected. Congress gets gold-plated healthcare. Think

Nothing

Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy

This is a lobby, places like Spain, France and Germany, Northern countries can sustain a free health system.

It’s never going to happen so none of that matters. Free shit for everyone is nothing more than a radical left campaign promise.

Ask anyone in Canada how long it takes to get a hip or knee replacement. 12-18 months.

right?

Endless waiting

Medicare for all when we already have a doctor shortage 🤣🤣 some people just can't wait to give government full control over their lives 🤣

20 years of education just to earn $50/year?

It means people will get a chance to LIVE !

Trump budget would put an end to some drug-cost help under Medicare Part DThe proposal includes allowing Medicare to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies, yet also makes other changes that could mean recipients with high drug costs pay more. Man we have the greatest president. Helping the people all the time 😐 Most people won't buy the drugs during the donut hole phase. They will eventually become sicker & weaker. Again, here's more evidence that some type of universal care is warrented. Haven't been to a doctor in two years cause can't afford cost of prescriptions or are no longer on formulary- why waste money going. Paid into Soc Sec/Medicare for 50 working years and no help for seniors is gone? Give it to the military right and kill off the seniors.

Trump's budget could open this tax-free savings account to people on MedicareIf you're on Medicare, you can't put money away in a health savings account — the triple-tax advantaged account for medical costs. Trump's 2020 budget is trying to change that. What you should know. Mavi 💙 And I'm sure they'll use those savings to pay for medical expenses, right? A Medicare HSA savings plan? 'Sorry. You don't have enough in your Medicare savings account for your insulin.' Not necessary.
