WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Three Westerville Division of Police officers rescued a pair of ducklings who fell into a storm drain on Monday.
According to police, officers were notified by the Rotary Club of Westerville about two ducklings stuck in a storm drain. Officers Jon Baer, Maddie Muncie and TJ Ryan arrived to help rescue the baby ducks. Body camera video shows one officer speaking with two women about the ducklings around 8:30 a.m. The mother duck can be seen lurking and quacking in the background as the officers try to figure out how to get the ducklings out of the drain.Thanks to the Rotary Club of Westerville Harris-Askins House for notifying the Westerville Police about ducklings stuck in a storm drain.
After about 15 minutes, one duckling was rescued.
