PUGET SOUND EXTENDED FORECASTRainy early followed by only a few showers mid-morning to midday. Increasing rain again for the afternoon commute. Breezy north of Everett. Slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Highs in the low to mid-60s. Off and on showers in the morning. Increasingly steady rain in the afternoon. Chance of afternoon thunderstorms. . Monday stays rainy and cloudy all day long, with light rain for most but the chance for afternoon thunderstorms and isolated higher totals. Tuesday dries out a bit with more dry periods, but light rain and afternoon isolated thunderstorms still possible. Totals could bring multiple inches along the Olympic Peninsula, with around an inch or so around the Sound.

Highs will be well below normal - mostly in the low to mid-60s, and eventually down in the upper 50s by late this week. Normal highs are just shy of 70 degrees. We need that rain! The latest Drought Monitor shows severe conditions and extreme conditions over the north and central Cascades.
