Wendy's giving Denver Nuggets draft pick free spicy nuggets for a year

"A year's worth of saucy nuggs comin' atcha," the fast food chain said to center DaRon Holmes II after he was selected by the Nuggets on draft night.isn't just celebrating the life-changing experience of being taken with the 22nd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. He's also enjoying some free perks that come with playing in the Mile High City.

Wendy's posted on social media congratulating DaRon Holmes II on"achieving your life long dream" in addition to being drafted into the NBA."So I’m supposed to get free sauces or something from Wendy’s?" Holmes said on social media.The Nuggets traded the 28th and 56th picks in this year's draft, along with two future second-round picks, to the Phoenix Suns for the 22nd pick used to select Holmes.
