Wells Fargo outage leads to payday panic for some customers

Keeping a fraction of WellsFargo depositors from their money for just one day, means millions in interest income for the bank. Not a bad way to subsidize their fine losses, is it?

I would never bank here. I have so many elderly clients that have to jump through hoops to get their money from Wells Fargo. They are horrid.

Sure, and at the least, big delays. So we have electronic funds transfers & it takes longer than mail/delivery of check & you driving to the bank & sometimes a overnight/24 hr delay? Banks are making $$$$$ off your cash via floating & collecting interest somehow

First there was the scandal over enrolling customers in accounts they didn't ask for, than it happened again, now this, how does Wells Fargo still have customers at all?

Use a Credit Union, they are MUCH better. Wells Fargo holds your direct deposit for two days. Your direct deposits hit the banks on Wed. With credit unions your money is available by Thur morning
