I’m all for CEO’s making money. Given Wells Fargo’s current circumstances and the fact that there is a target on them from congress, maybe forgo the raise this year? Just a thought.

Was Alexandria Cortez consulted?

Good for him. It’s s huge business Run.

Of 254 companies reporting their 2nd CEO pay ratio disclosure so far, median employee pay has risen 4.2%; median CEO pay, 3.4%. Average of median employee pay has risen 6.1%; average CEO pay, 60%. As expected, problem may be attenuating to a smaller group of CEOs due to sunshine.

So?

Crime does pay.

Wonder how many people committed suicide, OD fentanyl, raging alcoholic, divorced, wife beatings cause of Wells Fargo lawlessness?

For being nice enough to be polite to imbecile AOC...I'd have given him more.

18 million for the CEO s and minimum wage for other employees.

Omg

Sure he did and why not, he stole it fair n square.

I’m sorry but this man has no integrity whatsoever. I’ve been targeted by someone close to me who worked at WF - she kept insisting I needed to open an account like it was some pyramid scheme. Still dunno if I have one that was opened w/o my permission. Bye WF! NoDAPL

No one on this planet is worth 18 million dollars a year in salaries for any job.

Why don’t you post your salary?

That IS an obscene amt for pay!!!! My daughter works for Wells Fargo and the lowly workers didn't get anywhere near a +5% pay raise!!!!!

They used to robe their own Banks, and payrolls did you know?..

I've said it before. I think these CEOs make enough money. Do they really deserve or need that extra raise. Why not spread it to employees who need it. And did we forget about the scandal they went through with the loans...?

good for him, im excited this time when the economy crashes, these buggers are going to jail. I hope people are ready for when it hits and are holding gold and silver

so ? why not this writer becomes a CEO to get high pay ?🤪

Must be nice.

HIs kids need braces.

Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan faces an angry CongressWells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan says that the bank's problems are fixed and its customer abuses are a thing of the past. But his contentious hearing in front of the House Financial Services committee indicates that Wells Fargo isn't out of the dog house yet. Glad I sold my inherited parents’ stocks of this atrocious bank when they backed DAPL 🤮😈 Financing things that some people disagree with aren’t a “problem” to begin with. They’re a bank they make loans and hope to be paid back. I don’t blame parents who give their child an allowance if the kid purchases something questionable with it. That’s the same thing the serial killer said after he was apprehended.

It's a reminder that CEO Timothy Sloan, who testifies before Congress this week, is still in the hot seat with Washington. They need to force out the top 100 people from this bank. Wells Fraudco. Still a rotten place to bank and work. Wells Fargo is proof of the absurdity of Glass Steagall repeal and its reckless culture is longstanding and likely intractable.
