Today rain is likely to target the early evening hours. Expect gusty winds, and heavy rainfall after 5-6 pm and it could last until 10 pm. The strongest storms will be along I-10 and areas to the south. That round will fade late overnight but more is in store. The weather pattern keeps sending upper-level impulses southeastward from Canada into the central U.S., which is drawing up warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico.Tuesday: Begins dry but the rain arrives earlier in the afternoon. It will be a breezy day with afternoon storms leading to potentially severe weather and heavy rain into the overnight.
Wednesday a cold front will stall across NE Florida leading to the potential for heavy rain and localized flooding. A good chance for rain can be expected in the morning hours and it especially targets areas from Jacksonville and points south as it sinks toward central Florida in the afternoon with some partial clearing by the end of the day.Thursday may be your best bet for a dry day before showers pick up Friday continuing with showers into Saturday.
