Ummmm no one isn’t taking the train because of the small handful of dollars it costs. They don’t take the train if it’s easier or quicker to drive to the destination, or if they find that destination doesn’t have transportation to get around in and they need their car.

Terrible idea, unless your a socialist pig🤷‍♂️

RideUTA This is only going to work well long-term if UTA spends more time listening and catering to the citizens in the community who depend on their service. I question whether commuters who use UTA as a luxury will help ridership numbers very much.

One false statement in this article is that free fare is new to the state of Utah. But Park City and Logan have been doing this for years. Although they're much smaller systems, I hope UTA is consulting with them.

I’d love to except it would take 3 hours to go from Davis co to Tooele when it’s a 45 min drive. Heck even a train from the airport to Tooele would help a lot. Yet it doesn’t exist.

All UTA transit will be free in FebruaryFor the entire month of February, all Utah Transit Authority buses and trains will be free. I still have to drive, bus, Trax, frontrunner no where near my house or work. If I did take it I'd be walking, in the freezing cold least 2 miles one way, still drive to the start of route 5 miles one way, and add 3 hours to my 10 our work day. Plus not 'free' I pay taxes The late Sam Taylor must be singing in his grave. He fought for decades to get free fare mass transit.

Long-term investors shouldn't worry too much about stocks being 10% off their highsWhat's unusual is not that we've had a 10% correction, what's unusual is how long it's been between corrections. There is a definition exactly that we had better have some of the long-term stocks as a result of an investment. oco51160571 Load of crap article. Tell that to the investors who already lost half of the money. Reassuring article so that their friends can sell to average investors. Remember the history. In the dotcom burst, investors who are left holding the bags are retail investors, not smart money. What? Stocks 10% off their high You mean a fucking index.. Stocks 40/50/60 % off their highs. And looks like they just warming up 😫😫😭😭
