It's also possible that Trump could use the news conference to talk about a border dispute between China and India that he has offered to mediate. Trump may also address legislation covering China’s treatment of its Uyghur ethnic minority citizens.China's new national security law for Hong Kong could spell the end of civil liberties in the city and cripple its status as a global financial hub.
