ENTERPRISE, Ala. - New Wayfinder signs are in the works in the city of Enterprise after complaints about the difficulties of getting around town.
“This new program came about because citizens and key planners have told us that the experience here can be confusing,” said Tammy Doer, City of Enterprise Director of Tourism and Community Relations. Doer was a part of a proposal that introduced a project to place detailed signs around the area, improving navigation.
“The signs will point out city attractions,” said Doer. “Things like the hospital, our community college, our ballfields...”The signs would also vary in size, with smaller signs for slow speed zones and larger signs for high speed.and receive the latest local news and weather straight to your email every morning.
