The decisive goal was a spectacular one by a Wave nemesis in Veronica Latsko, whose reverse header in the 89th minute floated beyond goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan into the goal’s upper right corner. Latsko's goal in San Diego last November, in the NWSL semifinals, stood as the winner. The Wave have lost all of their five matches in Seattles.. The last-place Reign ended a five-game losing streak.
