What do you remember about staging the sequence?
I saw it as being complete surprise. I think Mr. Phillips really expected to have gone through all of it, be able to take a bow, and get a big hug from the master, and have won, when instead he gets his face blown off, all for Jeremy's perverse pleasure. That seems to be a good approach to all of the Phillipses, because so many of them reach a grisly end.
I hope there is a lot of gay super gay characters because everyone is so gay yay!
