Monroe Lace, a biological male who identifies as female, said it has always been a dream to win the title."I am literally still in disbelief," Lace, the first transgender winner in the organization's 99-year history, told Kron4 News."This is like such a dream come true. I've been dreaming about this since I was 12 years old."

The win was a very emotional moment for Lace, who has experienced homelessness and abuse, according to the interview. "Four years ago, I ran away from home, and I was homeless," Lace said."Two years ago, I was assaulted at gunpoint, and, to me, if I'm able to inspire a child who sees me and thinks to herself, 'I'm going to be okay,' then I've done my job."When Lace decided to compete in the Miss America Organization's competition, the now-Miss San Francisco said competing as"myself" was important.
"I knew there was a little girl out there or little child out there watching me, and I wanted them to know that if I can do it, they can too," Lace said.

Another day and another slap in the face of real women EVERYWHERE. It amazes me how more women are not speaking up about men having total disregard for what it takes to be a woman. Pretending to be a woman will not ever make you a woman.
America is not an inherently racist country, but it is rapidly becoming an inherently sexist country, where (real) women are fast becoming second class citizens. Curiously, this madness is supported by many women, through their votes.
So, real women are basically being erased. This behavior is a slap in the face to real women who gave struggled for equal footing all so a small minority of people can get their way.
The push to normalize insanity is really happening.
