After legal threats and ample arguments, Aerosmith reunited with drummer Joey Kramer at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night

“Joey Kramer is our brother; his well-being is of paramount importance to us,” the band said in a statement. “However, he has not been emotionally and physically able to perform with the band, by his own admission, for the last six months. We have missed him and have encouraged him to rejoin us to play many times but apparently he has not felt ready to do so.”

Kramer appeared with the band at the MusiCares ceremony for photos but wasn’t allowed to perform. It made for what seemed to be a rather awkward situation, but the band has a long history of overcoming tension. Joe Perry quit the band in 1979 and Brad Whitford followed a couple of years later, but they both returned in 1985.

LOL ... their issue aint Joey Kramer. He drums fine. The issue is Joe and Steven. Age has kicked their collective asses.

It would be 'a disservice to him, to ourselves and to our fans to have him play' says the band that spend a decade playing whilst of their tits on heroin....

Huh? Ain’t that Guy Fieri?
