Way to go Walmart! My belief is that you give folks all the guns they want but you make the ammunition expensive and hard to get . That oughta make life a little more difficult so as not to be able to just go out and start shooting.
Why does it matter where the ammo comes from. So, the guy goes to Dick’s Sporting Goods and buys the ammo and enters a Walmart.
Ok, good for Walmart. I can buy my ammo elsewhere, and I'll still carry concealed. Nothing changes

Walmart ends all handgun ammunition sales and asks customers not to carry guns into storesWalmart on Tuesday announced it will reduce its gun and ammunition sales, one month after more than 20 people were killed in a mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas. Walmart also pressured Congress to enact gun safety measures. Walmart is also requesting that customers no longer openly carry guns into its 4,700 US stores, or its Sam's Club stores, in states that allow open carry. Walmart will continue to sell long barrel deer rifles and shotguns and much of the ammunition for those guns. Walmart will also continue to allow concealed carry by customers with permits in its stores. Walmart this is the right thing to do, you could go further but I will take this as the start of doing something very responsible and necessary.....good for you.
