NATHANIEL FRAZIER For the Eagle In game one, the Bishop State Wildcats built a big lead, but in the end had to hold on to earn a 9-6 victory.
In that first game, the blowout began in the second inning. Bishop sent 10 runners to the plate and the Wildcats scored six runs. The runs scored on a two-RBI double from Jessica Farrer, an RBI single from Emma Wilson, and a three-RBI double from Kayley Weaver. However, Bishop tacked on a couple of insurance runs in the top of the seventh and that put the game away.
