During the second week of May, Vogue Club gathered on the Upper East Side for its first-ever Night at the Museum to celebrate the Costume Institute’s exhibition Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
They were greeted at the party with champagne. Amidst the Museum’s majestic Great Hall decorated in blooming florals by Raul Avila, guests enjoyed mingling with Vogue Editors, passed canapés prepared by Olivier Cheng , and a selection string orchestra covers of modern-day hits. Upstairs, party-goers were escorted through the exhibition’s three main “zones”—Land, Sea, and Sky—discovering the evolving attitudes to the natural world through manipulation of natural materials to craft garments.
