The number of confirmed U.S. cases of the virus rose to more than 2.5 million on Saturday, according to a Reuters tally. Over 125,000 Americans have died of COVID-19, the illness caused by the virus, the highest known death toll of any country in the world.
Meanwhile, Nevada on Saturday disclosed 1,099 new cases, double its previous record, while South Carolina and Georgia reported 1,604 and 1,990 new infections, respectively, also marking new daily highs. The worsening contagion in some parts of the United States has created a split-screen effect, with New York and its neighboring Northeastern states, which were hit hardest initially, reporting declining cases and forging ahead with reopening plans.
Washington state Governor Jay Inslee said on Saturday that his state would pause moving into the next stages of opening its economy as cases there rise. All the lockdowns they had in the states are WASTED. people suffered for nothing. Thanks to the brave+stupid think they can scare Covid 19 to death.
Keep bashing China and the virus will disappear
Yet recorded to lowest covid death rate since March today?
What’s the big deal! Recover and get back to work. This nation is becoming such a spoil brat.
I'm tired of winning
trump and boris have killed thousands
But those are not mortality rates. Seems like the testing is having a similar prediction like the 2009 H1N1 swine flu test. High/positive results but little to no mortality rate spikes.
Amazing how swing states and Trump events are being disproportionately hit by this virus... Weird...
Kiwi's and avocados test positive too. Fake testing again...
You test more people, you find more cases. I know this is incredibly difficult logic, but for some reason, people don't even take the time to understand that. it's not a spike, you're just testing 7 times more people than you were a month ago. Oh, and the death rate is down
I live in Florida and it's a Shitshow and they need to get it TOGETHER!
Death rates down by 90%
At this rate, we'll hit the million death prediction before November
I’m confident “a portion” of 🇺🇸don’t care about +ive cases until we show hospitalizations/deaths.. we know CoVid cases were going to go up, but the number of really sick people will show how bad this is.. hospitalization numbers are hard to find! Any way to promote those numbers?
And California!
Let’s not forget Texas!
What's the death rate? More testing, More cases
It's the Fucking Canadians. The damn Snowbirds.
Red states of course
I'm sure cold, flu and asthma attacks are almost non existent, so...
Sad to say but they were warned by top scientists. People want to politicize wearing a mask this is what happens.

Now do the death rate
Dat a surprise?
This story is misleading and incomplete without context on testing volume and testing policies. It was hard not to notice that this story reads as 'good news' which it probably is to you
Can you remind how many deaths today again?
right after 'testing blitzes'.. what a surprise.. you should also report on the lack of testing now happening in places like NY.
Florida , Arizona and Nevada set records for new coronavirus cases.
Lol at the video packahe accompanying the tweet.
So? The death rate is dropping
I like how you say daily high instead of the number or capacity like you did with NYC. Hmmmm?
You know at what point Do we all just say so what? I am there now!
