In a case that spans from southern Utah to the Wasatch Front; on August 30, 2023, Ruby Franke’s children were found separated by hundreds of miles.At first, officers in Springville thought they might be at Franke’s home. When they served a warrant and found the home unoccupied, they began looking in other places around the county.
The officer then learns some new information after getting in touch with someone on the phone that they had a warrant for the two children. According to the video, Bodtcher was detained for nearly 50 minutes before Springville officers could arrive to gather more information.
