CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Euclid Police Department on Friday said they are looking for the person responsible for stealing a man’s bicycle, which is his only method of transportation.
“He’s quite a character and he comes to the police department on a regular basis to come to say hi and chit chat with us at the front window,” said Capt. Houser. “It was pretty sad when we saw that it was his bike that was gone.”But in no time the people of Euclid stepped up to replace the stolen bike worth hundreds of dollars.“So, I happened to be on Facebook today and I saw that somebody ripped off his bike and I’m thinking wow, his bike is his world,” said Carlson.
“So, the bike has not been on the pavement in 50 years, but I’ll help him spiff it up,” said Carlson.“That was very nice of them. I appreciate it, that they thought of me and that was very kind,” said Marty.
