Lo que no es tan habitual es que Lewis Hamilton, que salió desde la pole en Albert Park en ocho ocasiones, no avanzase a la última ronda de la sesión de calificación.

“La inconsistencia del carro es algo realmente que te desquicia', señaló el siete veces campeón del mundo, apuntándole al viento que sopló por la tarde como un problema. “Si pudiéramos encontrar la manera de encontrar ese punto ideal en el carro y que sea a más, y quizás se pueda ser más competitivos”, añadió. “No es una buena sensación para todos en el equipo, pero hay que seguir trabajando”.
