'Vehicle of interest' located during search for missing 4-year-old Everett boy

Photos provided by the Everett Police Department show a “vehicle of interest” that was recovered in Clark County in connection to missing 4-year-old Ariel Garcia . Police are asking the public for help finding a 4-year-old boy in Everett who is “missing under suspicious circumstances” and “may be in danger.”was last seen around 7 a.m. Wednesday in an apartment on the 4800 block of Vesper Drive, according to the Everett Police Department .

Police said they don't have a clothing description for Ariel, who they described as a Hispanic boy with brown hair and brown eyes., the PPD said a “vehicle of interest” was located in Clark County and in police custody, but officials were still searching for Ariel. The EPD is asking anyone who has seen or has surveillance camera video of Ariel or a. Investigators said while the “vehicle of interest” was not outstanding, no suspect was in custody.

An “extensive, regional search” is underway for Ariel that involves multiple jurisdictions, including the FBI and search and rescue crews. “We are continuing to search for the child, conducting neighborhood interviews and collecting video footage, and Search and Rescue has been involved,” the EPD posted on Facebook Thursday afternoon.
