Investigators have found a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 16-year-old pedestrian in Adams County.

A red Dodge Magnum has been seized and is being processed for evidence, the Colorado State Patrol said on Tuesday.

The Dodge, according to investigators, was involved in the April 12 death of Kara Kincaid. The teenager was using a crosswalk near the intersection of East 76th Avenue and Leyden Street when she was hit. The driver, who has not been identified, fled the scene. The state patrol on Tuesday said investigators are following multiple leads and further information on the case will released when available.
