VATICAN CITY - The Vatican on Tuesday accused ultra-conservative Catholic social media of fomenting hate, a day after militants stole statues they considered pagan idols from a church and dumped them in the Tiber river.
“In the name of tradition and doctrine, an effigy of maternity and the sacredness of life was dumped in contempt,” said Andrea Tornielli, the Vatican’s editorial director. They later expressed outrage at the use of an Amazonian statue of a pregnant woman at an opening ceremony.
Christian fanatics in South-East Asia too who cannot respect their local cultures and heritage because they have been indoctrinated by zealot pastors and NGOs under the guise of helping the poor. Ignorance and a horrid side to human nature.

The church has lost its way. Can’t even obey the very first of the commandments: “I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any strange gods before Me.”

The hate and evil came from putting those disgusting statues in God's Church in the first place. Getting rid of them was demonstrating a loving brave moral good.
Why would the catholic church allow a statue like that in the first place? Lots of weird, pagan practices address infiltrating the church in general.
