The Vampire Diaries universe star Joseph Morgan teases that he may be returning in the upcoming series finale of Legacies. The character's death seemed final, as he had absorbed the Hollow to protect his daughter Hope, who is one of the lead characters of Legacies. However, in the world of The Vampire Diaries, death doesn't always stick. It's certainly possible that her father could reappear in the Legacies season 4 finale, though whether or not he will be friend or foe to the group of students at large would certainly remain in question.
