Utah gymnast Maile O’Keefe has enjoyed individual success at the national championships. Now she wants to share that joy with her teammates.

“I’m not putting pressure on myself,” she said. “Everybody has their days when you mess up and your scores might not count and you have to lean on the team. It’s not about my success, but the success of the team.”

With all the depth the Utes have, coach Tom Farden envisions O’Keefe in most of the lineups, most of the time. O’Keefe is heading into her junior year with the determination of someone who believes she has yet to peak as an athlete. She has worked on floor upgrades and worked hard on her vault. Part of O’Keefe’s motivation is her experience. She is no longer the talented but slightly naive freshman from Las Vegas who started her career hitting 30 of 30 routines.

Entrata chairman accuses ‘Jews’ of COVID-19 vaccine conspiracy in antisemitic email to Utah politiciansThe CEO of the Utah-based Entrata software company blamed 'Jews' for a plot to depopulate the world in an unhinged email he sent to Utah political leaders Monday morning. Just a small tweet that I'm finding hard to arrange in a thoughtful manner. This email, as reported, is anti-Semitic and evil. Criticizing Israel for war crimes is not anti-semitic. Thank you for the Tribune for running this story. Any GOP politician who accepted a dime from this monster needs to return it. Every GOP politician needs to publicly condemn his behavior or silence equals consent. A list of the consenters should be published and those politicians publicly shamed. Not ok in the USA. Um…wtf?! Would love to see EntrataSoftware strongly condemn this nonsense but prolly not gonna happen…
