Utah reports record high COVID-19 hospitalizations, nearly 7,500 new casesUtah reported 7,493 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, continuing a decline in average infection rates that began last week. But hospitalizations remain at record levels, and test rationing means cases are almost certainly being undercounted. Hopefully, our numbers don’t follow other highly vaxed countries, but we’re trending that way. For the last 4 weeks the VAXED have made up 44.5% of cases, 50% of hospitalizations and 40.1% of deaths.
