US says none of its troops or officials will face disciplinary action for a drone strike in Kabul in August that killed 10 Afghan civilians, including seven children

The US has said it will not punish any of its military personnel for a botched drone strike in Afghanistan's capital Kabul that killed 10 civilians including seven children.

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said on Monday that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had received a high-level review of the August 29 strike which made no recommendation of accountability."The secretary is not... calling for additional accountability measures."Immediately after the drone strike, Pentagon said the strike targeted a Daesh suicide bomber who posed an imminent threat to US-led troops at the airport as they completed the last stages of their withdrawal.

Reports emerged almost immediately that the drone strike in a neighbourhood west of Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport had killed civilians including children. An earlier investigation by the Air Force inspector general said the strike was caused by execution errors, interpreting information that supported certain viewpoints, and communication breakdowns.

Cities across U.S. breaking all-time records for murderPhiladelphia, Portland, Tucson, Louisville, Indianapolis and Austin are among the cities seeing a surge in murder rates this year and the debate over why is raging. NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez speaks with Desiree Goodson, a mother whose 14-year-old son was killed while waiting for the bus in Philadelphia last week. ALL Global Citizens should be Allowed to vote! The USA affects the Entire World! ALL Russians, Chinese, Indians, Arabs, etc.. should be able to vote in ALL of the US Elections! If Only the USA could get GREAT leaders to Preside over the USA - like Vincente Fox - OPEN BORDERS! Seems like not only the debate is raging. The funny thing is, it won’t change because most Democrats will never understand it is their policies that are the root of the problem.
