The US National Institutes of Health says it's starting a $470 million study to try to understand what's become known as long Covid — the long-term, sometimes serious effects of Covid-19.

The study will aim to include 30,000-40,000 people and will make use of digital data -- including input from wearable devices, the NIH said."We know some people have had their lives completely upended by the major long-term effects of Covid-19," NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins said."These studies will aim to determine the cause and find much needed answers to prevent this often-debilitating condition and help those who suffer move toward recovery.

The study will look into whether various treatments used for severe cases of Covid-19 affect the risk of long Covid, whether vaccination affects risk, and will include people who had only mild symptoms of coronavirus infections, the NIH said.

4 U.S. cities have received counterfeit COVID vaccination cards from ChinaPackages with the fake cards were seized in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Memphis and Anchorage. God bless the 'Free Market'. I’ve read that in some Canadian provinces the vaccine cards have barcodes on them abd they get scanned for authenticity. Why can’t the U.S. do this? Oh…yeah. Unspeakably dangerous and ethically reprehensible.

mRNA vaccines not linked to miscarriage; COVID-19 shots in U.S. still protect against severe diseaseThe following is a summary of some recent studies on COVID-19. They include research that warrants further study to corroborate the findings and that have yet to be certified by peer review. So does the body's natural immune system. I suppose so.The first vaccines have done their job. Now we need new Gen ones and for EVERY single person regardless of their age to START ERADICATING the pandemic instead of constantly 'deflating' it to relax measures and making the balloon go up again in a flash. This must end.
