The United States will be represented by 217 athletes in 15 sports at the Beijing Olympics. The U.S. will finalize the members of the winter team this week. It is expected to include about 240 athletes. Qualifying for the Paralympics is still ongoing, but Finnoff said so far, the USOPC hasn't received requests for exemptions from potential Paralympians. Earlier this week, a group of human rights activists urged athletes not to criticize China for fear they could be prosecuted.
And they will still get Covid, and give to each other.
